Ezras Lakra

President / CEO

Ezras Lakra has served in a number of capacities in the Seventh-day Adventist church, from an evangelist, school teacher, and principal, to his current designation where he has been serving as the president of the Southern Asia Division since 2015. He previously served as the president of the Adventist Church in the Northern India Union, where he oversaw the work of the church in several states of India.

Pastor Lakra is known for his passion for evangelism and mission work and is a God-fearing leader.

The President serves as the head of the church’s governing body. He is responsible for leading the church in fulfilling its mission and vision, providing spiritual guidance to its members, and representing the church to the wider community. He is also responsible for appointing leaders and committees, overseeing the implementation of policies and programs, and ensuring the financial stability and sustainability of the church. The President plays a vital role in shaping the church’s direction, guiding its growth and development, and ensuring that it remains faithful to its fundamental beliefs and values.

John Victor Chinta

Executive Secretary

John Victor Chinta currently serves as the Executive Secretary of the Southern Asia Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

He was elected to the post in June 2022. Prior to his current position, he held various leadership roles within the Adventist Church, including serving as the President of the Adventist Church in the East Central India Union in Hyderabad.

The Executive Secretary is responsible for overseeing the administrative functions of the church, maintaining accurate records of church membership, communicating important information to the membership, coordinating and supporting the church’s mission and evangelism efforts, and working with other leaders to ensure that the church’s goals and objectives are being met. He serves as a liaison between the church’s leadership and its members and plays a key role in the development of the church’s strategic plans.

Riches Christian

Treasurer / CFO

Riches Christian is an able financial professional and has extensive experience in the accounting field. As the CFO and Treasurer, he is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the organization. This includes overseeing budgeting and accounting functions, managing investments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.

He works closely with other senior leaders in the organization to develop financial strategies and plans to support the mission and goals of the organization.

Additionally, he is responsible for managing the cash flow of the organization and ensuring that adequate funds are available to meet the operational and programmatic needs of the Southern Asia Division of Seventh-day Adventists.
